Branding

While my focus has always been on human-computer interaction and UX, I’ve also explored adjacent visual domains, including branding. Here are some of my branding projects, each shaped to fit a distinct company’s or initiative's identity and goals.

Melojelly

Melojelly is a Portuguese brand that celebrates local craftsmanship, sustainability, and design. When developing their visual identity, I created a logo inspired by the fluid form of a jellyfish: playful yet elegant. I drew from the aesthetics of traditional Portuguese tiles and patterns, both in shape and in color, blending modern simplicity with cultural roots. The result is a brand mark that feels fresh, local, and deeply connected to its heritage.

A variation of the secondary image of MeloJelly, in which the logo is repeated several times in a tile-like pattern, with the brand's name in the middle.

Momento Erolles

Momento Erolles is a modern lifestyle and sports brand with a bold, urban edge. For its visual identity, I designed a logo that embraces a brutalist aesthetic, featuring strong, defined lines and a contemporary structure that captures the brand’s energetic spirit. The logo reflects a dynamic blend of modern minimalism and rugged appeal, perfectly resonating with an audience passionate about both performance and lifestyle.

Race against the clock

When a leading Portuguese company told us they wanted to create an event for their 12,000 collaborators we were excited by the prospect of helping them. When they told us they expected results in their intranet on the following days we knew it would be a real challenge.
